"I have had a passion for music for as long as I can remember. My mom signed me up for drum lessons when I was 10 years old to get me to stop banging any two objects together that I could find around the house, and I haven't stopped experimenting with instruments and music since then."
Damn Skippy moved from his hometown in North Carolina to Breckinridge, Colorado at the age of 18 and began his MC career shortly after, forming the MC-DJ duo CO-2 and touring over Colorado for over five years.
Damn Skippy has been in Charleston, South Carolina for three years now, stirring up the hip hop community in the Lowcountry. Along with the hip hop group Savage Souls, Damn Skippy co-founded the Holy City Hip Hop Community, performing hip hop shows around the Charleston area and promoting lyrical hip hop.
